“I’m Daniel and I’m from Cluj (located in the middle of Transilvania, Romania), but temporary based in The Hague, Netherlands.

My appetite for SciFi directed me to IT in a natural way. I still remember how frightened I was to speak in public, but one day I have decided to challenge this fear, joining a public speaking club. After four years I decided to spend my spare time in other directions, but something was missing until I have realized the meteoric passion for different areas like physics, electronics and handcrafting can help me make a difference. It was pretty much the same time when I hit a plateau in my career evolvement until one day when I get feedback at my yearly evaluation at job suggesting I have to catch up with the latest tech changes. It was a cold shower but it was a turning point when I rediscovered the passion for learning and sharing the knowledge with peers as a trainer and speaker for the next years.

Let’s get back to present days, I’m working as a senior .NET developer for an EU Agency and I’m a consequent fan of C# since 2001. I have delivered 1200+ hrs of training on .NET web technologies for more than 700 students, in the last 5 years and I was a speaker on .NET technologies at 30+ IT conferences in Europe, and the USA in the last 3 years.

These are the things that got me awarded with MVP on Developer Technologies and the facts which got me in front of you today.”
